A newer, still-growing security-estate belt
Raslouw sits just west of Centurion Golf Estate, in a part of Centurion that's shifted over recent years from smallholdings into gated security estates and cluster developments. That means a lot of the stock is genuinely new — homes built with contemporary open-plan glazing, wide sliding doors and double-volume entries, often still being finished or lightly lived-in when the blind conversation starts.
Because so much of the area is new-build, we get involved earlier here than in an older suburb: concealed and recessed systems are worth planning while a ceiling is still open, and motorisation is easier and cheaper to wire in before finishes go on, rather than retrofit after.
The security-estate setting also means a finish conversation is common — body corporates and estate committees in this belt often have their own guideline on visible exterior colours and cassette finishes, which we build into the quote from the start.
